TOD is a binary video format developed by JVC for its tapeless cameras. Apart from JVC, TOD format is also used on standard camera brands such as Canon and Panasonic. It is used to store information into random-access media and uses MPEG-2 video codec compression. Also, TOD files can have an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 4:3.
