SWF (Small Web Format/ShockWave Format) is a digital Adobe flash file format that stores vector-based animations, audios, and videos. Generally, it is used to stream media online, mostly browser-based games. Sadly, Adobe recently announced that they are ending Flash format support by the end of 2020 due to its shortcomings such as performance issues and lack of security.

H.265, sometimes called HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), is a modern video compression standard developed as the successor to the standard H.264 (Advanced Video Coding). In comparison to H.264, this format offers up to 50% better data compression while providing improved video quality at a similar bitrate. Today, HEVC is used by over 40% of video developers, only second to AVC.
